The talented defender Miguel Araujo, a key player for the Portland Timbers, has been called up by the Peruvian Football Federation to represent the National Team in the upcoming friendly matches in March. Araujo, 29 years old, will join the Peruvian team to face Nicaragua on March 22 and the Dominican Republic on March 26.

Since his debut with the Timbers in July 2023, Araujo has stood out with seven appearances, including two starts, in various competitions. His defensive quality and versatility have made him a fundamental pillar for his club.
